Church in Offenberg, Germany. Yours truly going for a picture. Photo by Adrienne.
Hello friends!
Alas, I come to the door only to report that I will continue to be a rare visitor for the next while. I do wish to say that I am well, that everything is coming in to its right place, that I am coming to know a deep peace. And all at the same time my schedule has never been so decidedly hectic.
School has started and the best way to describe the academic side of it would be that I am taking an intensive Graphic Design semester with some Spanish on the side. So a simple but difficult adaptation I must make is adopting a different approach to homework—instead of working in strict two or three hour blocks it is imperative that I have thoughts constantly being poured into sketchbook and onto paper. The blocks of time will come as projects have to be finalized, but the mental shift is proving difficult.

I have several remaining subjects from my summer adventures which I want write about/share images from, but for now, I am overwhelmed and behind in my work. This week is looking promising for some catch-up, so fingers crossed for some more significant updates in two weeks or so.
