I've been out for a couple of days, but it's almost time to really start the summer. Later today I will be moving in to The Mercy House (the church community I am a part of) to undertake a kind of service-learning, summer of sabbath-esque internship. I do not know what all it will entail, but I do know that it is direct impetus and challenge to grow. I will be updating soon, but for now, some images that piqued my interest:
--------------------------------------

Charlie Brown skeleton sketch.
Found: Michael Paulus' Cartoon Skeleton sketches. Way cool.

Creepiest Teddy bear ever?

Now here's an excellent snapshot of a facet of the mindset a designer must adopt.

Lego man's face on helmet.
Found: Old news, but a giant Lego man was found washed up on a Dutch beach.

Tiananmen Square - "The Unknown Rebel" / "Tank Man" Lego reproduction
Found: Mixed-media drawing, video, documentary (alternate link) [hope to watch sometime!]

VJ-Day in Times Square reproduction
--------------------------------------
More where those came from...FFFFound is such an incredible resource/distraction. Sometimes the site has some weird stuff up, but as a whole, it's great. If only I could get an invitation...
