White Flag

Somehow it always manages to sneak up on me. The end of the school year is apparent, nigh, and impending. As ever, I am a bundle of intentions and half-finished plans. And yet, with these remaining weeks, I feel that the stranger known as completion is as tangible as ever, dangling before me.

This is kind of a white flag of a post, signaling that I may very well not even try to post until summer comes. But at the same time, I want to write more than ever.

Behold, the first creation of my mini-(zen) rock garden! I want to find/build a larger container, get more sand, and find some better/different rocks. This box is way too small to tell any kind of complicated story. But for now, I will learn with this stripped-down, simplified form.

As ever, I have much to share, but am terrible about making time to share it. Here's to hoping some free time comes up and I can catch up. Working on two dimensional art this semester has been a learning and growing experience for me, and I have a couple of pieces I am excited to share.
