Driving home from work today, NPR was on with some perspective on the revolutions in the Middle East, shedding some light onto differing perspectives of the involvement of Westerners, and I was more or less lost in thought. Out of the blue, I saw a bird fly in front of the car I was following from the left. I did not see the bird fly away to the right. My initial laughter was halted when I applied it as a metaphor to what I was hearing on the radio.
A part of me wants to be in the Peace Corps, on the ground in Libya right now.
